  1. JosephMatthew 1:18–20. Joseph was faithful and had integrity. (Matthew 1:19) A carpenter (Matthew 13:55–56). Nothing else is said or mentioned about Joseph after Jesus (as a boy) was found in the temple (Luke 2:41). At the cross, Joseph was not mentioned (John 19:25–27).
  2. An Angel (Matthew 1:20) & Other Angels – Gabriel (Luke 1:26, Luke 2:9–14, Matthew 2:19 & 22). Gabriel meets Daniel, Zacharias, and Mary. He is assumed to be an archangel, but scripture does not confirm this explicitly.
