The 7 P’s – Deterioration of the United States

1) Parents (Poor leadership in the home)

Proverbs 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go…”
Ephesians 6:4 – “…fathers, provoke not your children to wrath; but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”
Proverbs 22:15 – “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it from him.”
Proverbs 23:13 – “Withhold not correction from the child, for if thou beat him with a rod, he shall not die.”

2) Politicians (Mainly in Washington, D.C.)

Matthew 10:16–22 – Persecution Foretold – READ IT!

Various “Herods” in the Bible:

  • Herod the Great: Matthew 2:1, 2:3, 2:7, 2:16; Luke 1:5
  • Herod Antipas: Matthew 14:1, 14:3; Mark 6:14, 8:15; Luke 3:1, 3:19, 9:7; Acts 13:1
  • Herod Agrippa: Acts 12:1, 12:20, 23:35
  • Herod Agrippa II: Acts 25:13, 26:1, chapter 27

Pharaoh (in the Old Testament) – Exodus 1:16 & 22 – Killing all the firstborn males (baby boys).

Note: Many kings of Israel & Judah were evil or “slack” in following & obeying God (e.g., King Saul & King Solomon).

3) Pastors (Preaching a lukewarm gospel)

Jeremiah 3:15 – “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
Jeremiah 10:21 – “For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the Lord…”
Jeremiah 12:10 – “Many pastors have destroyed My vineyard…”
Jeremiah 23:1–2 – “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy & scatter the sheep of My pasture saith the Lord…”
Ephesians 4:11–12 – “He gave some… pastors & teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”

Pastors should be an example and encouragement!

4) Producers (Movie & TV makers)

They promote fornication, adultery, homosexuality, profanity & violence.

Matthew 5:28 – “…whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”
1 Thessalonians 5:22 – “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”
Romans 12:9 – “Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.”

Also read: Revelation 21:8, 21:27; Revelation 22:15; Galatians 5:19–21; 1 Corinthians 6:9–10

5) Photographers (Pornography)

Matthew 5:28 – (Man lusts after a woman in his heart)
2 Samuel 11:1–5 – (David lusting after Bathsheba)
Matthew 14:1–12 – (Beheading of John the Baptist due to a damsel’s dancing before Herod)
Psalm 101:3 – “I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes…”

6) Performers

Performers are only human—talented, but still human.

1 John 5:21 – “Keep yourselves from idols.”
Exodus 20:3 – “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.”
James 1:17 – “Every good and perfect gift is from above…”

7) People

Christians especially not standing up and speaking out for what is right. Allowing non-godly principles to dictate society. Instead of crying out to God and earthly authority, the culture sways the Christian to gradually accept and sometimes participate in sin.

CHRISTIANS SHOULD DISDAIN SIN!
CHRISTIANS SHOULD CONFRONT UNGODLY PRINCIPLES, NOT GO ALONG WITH THEM!

2 Chronicles 7:14 – “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

What Are God’s People Doing to Help Revival?

  • Are they witnessing?
  • Winning souls?
  • Praying?
  • Fasting?
  • Living the Word?
  • Giving?
  • Or… are they compromising?

DON’T BE A COMPROMISER!
BE A SOULWINNER!
BE A “REAL” CHRISTIAN WHO LIVES THE GODLY LIFE, PLEASING GOD IN ALL YOU DO.
(John 8:29)

Someday, we will all have to stand before God’s throne and give an account of our lives.

For the saved: The Judgment Seat of Christ (Romans 14:10; 2 Corinthians 5:10)
For the lost (unsaved): The Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11–15)

Which one will Y-O-U be at???

Change your world by allowing God to change your heart.
(Ezekiel 11:17–20)

These verses in Ezekiel refer to the Jews returning to Israel, but God can also allow Gentiles to turn to Him—specifically, His Son, Jesus, by truly repenting and following Him all the way.
(Romans 10:9–10, 13)
(Romans 2:11 – No respect of persons with God)
